(4 doses a day) when there is a bland watery
discharge from the nose.

Nux vomica 6
(4 or 5 times a day) nose flows in the day and stops
in the night making breathing

Colic with thirst for large quantity of water. Lying
on painful side affords relief,
slight motion agg. pain. The pains are stiching and
the patient is generally
constipated.

Colic with blueness of skin, cold sweat on forehead
and symptoms of collapse are
prominent : coldness of body and blue livid face.
Chininum sulphuricum 30
If continued for long , gradually reduces
frequencies: cures Gallstones biliary colic

Chamomilla 200
diarrhoea during dentition period stool is
yellowish- green and offensive, child
uneasy and wants to be carried into arms.
1. All green leafy vegetables are to be avoided.
2. Rice, curd, orange- juice, milk- whey as the case
may be, are to be advised.
3. In case of thirst, water should be submitted with
sipping of ice or orange juice;
Ars Alb. 3x 7 drops in 4 ozs. of water may be given
in tea- spoonful doses in
unquenchable thirst.
4. The application of an abdominal belt of flannel
is very serviceable.
5. In severe abdomen should be kept warm.
6. Apply warm fomentation to bowels, if the they are
tender and painful.
7. Abstinence from acid- forming food (meat, eggs,
all grains ect.) is the first step
to control diarrhoea.
Dysentry
(little stools with mucous and accompanied tenesmus
or blood).
Mercurius solubilis 30
Dysentri with great tenesmus which continues long
after stool, more mucous than
blood in stool.
Note:--- 2 doses of 30 potency (morning and night)
are enough.
Mercurius corrosivus

When the dysentric stool are altogether bloody.

crisis but will be curing the disease
alone.
The above two remedies are enough to cure pneumonia
, bronchitis , common
colds diarrhoea , dysentry and vomiting. For
debility Kali Phos 6x may be added
to Ferr. Phos. 6x.
Panic fear ( neorosis )
To these conditions homeopathy is of great value .
the rightly selected remedy
always fear fear , removes nervousness and. makes
one happy and cheerful. only a
doze of a drug in 200th or two in 30th potency will
be a convincing factor.

result of hard labour .

3. Remedies for expelling the retained placenta are

Miscarriage
(abortion )

3 rd month , the bleeding is

Note:--- I have saved cases from the clutches of
death from a sudden collapse by
giving crude camphor in one gram doses every 3 to 5
minutes until relief.
Fevers
(Fever is a state when bodily heat is more than
normal necessary for health is due
to excessive generation of heat and less of power to
expel it due to certain
factors,invading the body and soul )
1. If a fever turns remittent or typhoid type of
fever , Bapt. 30 may be alternated
with puls. 30 or Bry 30 or Bell. 30, as the case may
be. If Pyrg.. 30 given at night ,
it helps averting typhoid fever.
2. IF a fever becomes continued for 3 days , Bapt.
?.? doses averts tendency to
typhoid.
3. If fever is caused by dry cold , is a sudden onset
, Acon. 3x in repeated doses
will greatly help , while if caused by wetting,
Dulc. 3 o will do a lot.
4. Ferr. Phos and Kali Mur . 3x or 6x are alternated
every half an hr. In fevers ,
accompanied by cough.
5. Bell. Is the first remedy to by thought of in
fevers , after Acon. In initial stage ,
if there is congestion , flushed face, dry mouth ,
headache and aversion to light.
6. Bry. 6---30 should be given when patient wants to
lie quitely great thirst for
glassful of water but at long intervals , dryness ,
constipation , agg. movement ,
lungs may also be involved.
7. Rhus. Tox. 30 - great restlessness , tosses about
better by moving about and
agg. on lying down.
8. Ars. Alb. 30 advanced stage of fever , extreme
weakness , anxiety , restlessness
, tooes about , thirst for small quantity of water
at short interval, amel. mid- night.
9. Ibec. 30---any type of fever accompanied by
nausea and vomiting.
10. Nux Vom. 30---fever due to gastric derangement ,
chilliness , frequent and
ineffectual urging to stool , bitter taste.
11. Strm ---- Talks all the time , delirium, desires
company , low fever, thinks
some body is following him.
Note: If urine suppressed Ordital. 6, if frequently
repeated , will bring out the
urine
12. Phos. 6----30 fever with feeling of great heat
internal and. Desires everything
cool , agg. evening and before mid-night , better in
cool place.
13. Sul. 30---when well selected remedies fail to
act ,on doses of Sul . will clear
the case and may even bring recovery.
Note:1. Patient must be kept in well ventilated ,
clean room and should be
protected from direct exposure.
2. If very high fever is persisting , say over 104
ice cap should be applied till the
fever comes down to 103 degree.
3 . During high fever , nothing should be given ,
except a bit of milk.
4. Sufficient water should be taken and even after
recession of fever , for some
days only liquid and light diet should be taken ,
like milk , sago ect.
Surgical
Injuries and insect bites
Arnica montana
30 and ext.
Very efficacious in all cases of injuries , both
locally ; from falls ,blows and
surgical operations ; shocks from auto-accidents
intense sensitiveness to pain in
injuries. Wasp bites etc. SORE BRUISED FEELING.
Note:--
1. Arn. M (ext ) to drops in ten tablespoonful Luke
warm water be mixed and
compresses should be applied in bruises.
2. Should not be used externally if the continuity
of skin is broken ; instead use
Hyper. Or calend.
Rhus toxicodendron 200 and ext.
An excellent remedy for sprains , both locally and
internally ; very valuable for
effects of strain on muscles , tendons ; from heavy
lifting of working in water ;
suitable for chronic cases after Arn. M.
Ruta graveolens 30 and ext.
Lameness after sprain , especially of ankles and
wrists ; over-exertion of eyes
resulting in pain ; weakness and despair and easy
sprains ; tenderness over bones.
Hypericum perforatum 200 and ext
Excessive painfulness is the guiding symptom. Well
indicated when parts injured
are rich with sentient nerves like injury on spine ,
finger nails , palms ; bite of
buggs.
Note:---One of the finest anti-septic , it used it
prevents lock-jaw and not
affecting the normal healthy tissues.
Staphisagria 200
Excellent remedy for incised wounds , pain after
extraction of tooth ,knife-cutting
like pain ; injuries from sharp cutting instruments
; recurrent Styles.
Ledum palustre 200 and ext.
Injuries from pointed instruments like nails ,
stringbites , especially mosquitoes ;
punctured wounds ; apply externally and give orally.
Note:---
1. In punctured wounds , if given , it will prevent
tetanus - KENT
2. It removes black spots due to injury.
3. According to Kent , for punctured wounds, led. ;
for lacerated wounds of nerves
, hyper. , for bruises Arn.; and for open wounds
calend , are of greatest use.
Urtica urens 30 and ext.
Very useful rather specific for bee- stings , may be
used is snake bites profitably
internally and externally.
Cedron 30
It has power of anti-doting snake poison and stings
of insects like other samaras.
Aceticum acidum 30
Cate- bite , upper and lower leg swollen ; it anti-
dotes affects of gas-poisoning.
Lyssinum 30
Anti-dotes bite of rabid dog.
Euphorbia polycarpa 30
And anti-dote to snake poisoning ; it said that its
use renders the body immune to
the influence of snake poison . ( Ray Bahadur B. Das
).
Note: ---- Immediately on snake - bite , two or
three tight bandages be should be
applied just immediately above the site of the bite
on single bone of extremities. It
should be then cut open and be filled with potassium
permanganate. As far as
possible , the patient should be kept awake by
making him walk.
Symphytum officinale 30
Facilitates union fractured bones , relieves pain of
bone due to injury ; no remedy
equals than this in traumatic injuries of eyes -----
BOERICKE.
Note:---
1. Gandhiji ( the father of the nation ) suggested
salt solution for scorpion sting ,
snake common salt in a bottle to make a saturated
solution to allow to settle for a
day and decant the solution and keep. A drop of this
solution put into each eye
removes the sting instantaneously-HOMOEOPATHIC
BULLETIN , OCT. 1935.
2. All wounds should be immediately washed with
potassium permanganate and
indicated remedy be given orally and applied ,
externally.
3. Stock Hyper. , or Arn. : Acon .When fever,
restlessness and anxiety are present
: Ign , if hysterical crying and weeping are present
; when affected with gas and
just give acetic Ac. ; for eliminating affects of
gas give Phos.
Burns
Cantharis vesicatoria
Ext.
Excellent remedy for burns when used orally and
externally both.
Note: --- For immediate outer application , use
Canth. Ext. In 1 dram to 1 oz . of
cold water . The part burnt should be kept moist
with this application . It will avoid
formation of blisters .
Hypericum perforatum 200 and ext .
One of the reputed anti-septic remedies : patient
feels better by colt application ;
for excruciating intense pains when nerves are
involved even when pus has formed
or septic state has developed .
Arsenicum album 30
If given , prevents , gangrene when it is indicated
i. e. great restlessness ,
prostration and feeling of heat ameliorated by warm
application .
Urtica urens 300 and ext.
May be applied externally similar to the use of
Canth. Ext. And if given internally
, it promotes healing , removes burning , allays
inflammation and takes away pain ;
generally indicated where Canth. Fails .
Calendula officinalis
15 to 20 drops to be used when pus has formed in
internal organs as a result of
injury or burns and when mixed thoroughly with a
table spoonful of ordinary
Vaseline becomes an ointment of a high anti-septic
order . when applied to a
wound it promotes rapid healing.
Haemorrhage
Arnica Montana 30 and ext.
All traumatic and post-partum ( after miscarriage or
delivery ) haemorrhages.
Apply it externally as well.
Calendula officinalis 6 and ext.
Whenever there is external haemorrhage . and it
Calend. Ext. 20 drops in a glass
of water is applied through gauze's with this
solution , the the haemorrhage stops
quickly . It is anti-septic.
Hamamelis virginiana 6 and ext.
Used when there is venous ( thin and blackish ) (
haemorrhage ) bleeding.
Millefolium 30
Active haemorrhage after blow or extraction of tooth
, the the blood being red and
thin.
Note:---
1. Calend. Ext. If applied during delivery , it
often takes the the place of Arn. And
checks septic as well as stops bleeding as a result
of rupture of vaginal membranes.
2. Calend. Ointment is one of the best local
applications for all wounds or open
abscesses. It promotes healthy growth of tissues
rapidly.
3. China 3x to 30th if administered after loss of
blood or animal fluid , it removes
weakness and restores health.
Preventives and prophylactics
The medicines given under this head are those which
can be widely distributed
during epidemics . They either save persons from
being attacked by a particular
disease of if even after administration of a
medicine, the disease breaks out, runs a
mild course and the prognosis is generally
favourable. If given during the course of
a disease, it cult short the period and
complication. THEY SHOULD BE STOKED
SUFFICIENTLY DURING EPIDEMICS FOR GENERAL
DISTRIBUTION.
