Common Name: Monkshood
Mental:
All ailments acute or chronic
are attended by fear of death and the feeling that
death is imminent or near.
Sudden severe complaints that arise from shock
that threatened
the life of the person and are attended with an
AGONIZING FEAR OF DEATH. Desires death.
Cannot think, sensation that
ideas are coming from the stomach.
PANIC STATES accompanied by:
sudden, violent palpitations, red face, one-sided
numbness, faint
feeling, perspiration, trembling, vertigo, dyspnea and
fear of death.
Calm between panic states.
FEAR of : open spaces, darkness (cannot
sleep with the light off), elevators,
tunnels, heart
disease, that heart will stop,
airplanes, earthquakes, crowds, narrow places, brain stroke.
Suddenly awakes with fear 10-15’ after falling
asleep in panic (≠Lach.)
Aversion being touched.
Anxiety about others.
Aversion to consolation.
Ailment after hearing bad news (should not be
prescribed only for this reason).
Physical:
Acute symptoms arise from exposure to dry cold air. During fever, skin is dry and
hot, intense nervous restlessness
and tossing about, intense thirst for cold water.
Paralysis on waking (Phos., Lach., Med., Sulph.)
erosis, Alzheimer’s disease.
