I was in Austria 4
years ago - but I can not ski - and a woman who was with us, fell on her elbow.
On the X-ray you saw a crack in the head
of the humerus. And I gave her Arnica, I
gave her Symphytum, I gave her Hypericum, but she still has had pain for the
next two years ...

where I said you have to differentiate between Calcarea and Sepia. I asked
Vassilis Ghegas and he did a consultation and said, "That is Sepia."
I asked G. Vithoulkas, because this woman is the woman of my friend and I had
to cure her. Vithoulkas said, "Maybe she needs Lycopodium." I gave
her Sepia, Lycopodium and every other possible remedy, but nothing helped. Then I did a consultation for 1 1/2 hour and then the
Calcarea nucleus appeared. When
she was in the house she closed the door, not because she was anxious, but
because she did not want that other people saw the disorder in her house. So, I
discovered Calcarea. She got Calcarea 10 M and since then everything is all right.
It took 2 or 3 years before I discovered Calcarea.
A: I saw you once, on December 19, 1986. That's exactly four months ago. You had problems in your right arm, from top to bottom.
P: It was here, the lower muscles and then it extended to the whole arm, even until the fingertips.
A: Since when did you have that complaint ? What was the cause ?
P: It began suddenly.
A: You told me it arose because of an accident.
P: Yes, previously I had something and that remained in my neck. And I think it has something to do with it.

With an accident. And since then your arm is troubling you ?
P: Yes, first I could bear the pain, but then I got it constantly, so that I couldn't sleep at night.
A: When ?
P: When I came to you.
A: But originally, everything has arisen since the accident in 1972.
P: I suppose so.
A: Because previously you didn't have troubles with it.
P: No.
A: And since the accident your arm was regularly troubling you. Your wife told me you were suffering from your arm quite a long time.

kind of pain ? Sore pain.
A: Sometimes you had cramps in your fingers.
P: Yes, when I was painting or just holding a cup. I couldn't hold it. I had cramps in my both hands now and then.
We know already that this is a sore pain. In the rubric "cramps in fingers" (p. 973) there are a lot of remedies. Which remedies with a sore pain are there ? Not Calcarea phosphorica, or Ruta graveolens.
Remark: "There is another rubric with Ruta graveolens."
A: Yes, that is right, but I looked in the other rubric, and there is not Calcarea phosphorica, Ruta graveolens, Sulphuricum acidum, or Symphytum.
A: You also told me you couldn't lie on that side because it hurt.
Which rubric ? He
says that he has a sore feeling when lying on that side - "pain, sore,
parts lying on" (p. 1385). Why can Baptisia
not lie on one side ? Because of the pain ? What kind of feeling has Baptisia ?
The bed is too hard. Then he tries to lie on the other side and again the bed
is too hard -
but in this case it is not so, the bed is
too hard only on the side which is painful. Baptisia feels this soreness on
every side - on the right side, on the left side, in whichever position he
lies. He lies on this side for a while, and then he has to turn over. But he has this sore
pain only on the side he is lying on. When you take
those rubrics together, "ailments from injuries," "cramps in the
fingers", "pain, sore, parts lying on", there is only one
remedy.
P: Yes, I
couldn't tolerate the arm of my wife upon it. I couldn't tolerate anything upon
it.
A: Did your arm
sleep when you lay on it ?
P: Yes.
A: These were the complaints you were troubled with. You also told me you liked whisky.
P: In order to sleep.

there is only one remedy: Arnica.

A: Then I gave the remedy in 10 M on December 19, 1986.
And then ?
P: After 3, 4 days there was an improvement. And after a week it had completely disappeared. I didn't have that pain anymore, or in the finger.
A: So, the pain has disappeared, the sleepiness has disappeared.
P: I had to be careful with cold water, because it seems as if I am in icy-cold water.
A: Oh yes, but otherwise you don't have troubles with it anymore. You sleep well at night. Can you lie on that side ?
P: Yes, I can sleep on it.
A: All right. And you stated that there was nothing that could be done about it. Good. Have you become ill from the remedy ?
P: No, the first days it seems as if I hadn't taken it at all.
I showed you this video to say that we have to think homoeopathically, and not allopathically. We have also seen cases of Hypericum after injuries, but it depends on the modalities which remedies we choose. Maybe it is Calcarea, or Calcarea phosphorica, Ruta graveolens, Sulphuricum acidum, Symphytum or Arnica or maybe Silicea. It depends on the modalities which remedy we need.
In the last case Calcarea phosphorica was clearly indicated, now it is Arnica. Treat in a homoeopathical way.
, "Alfons, I have pain in this toe, a stone fell upon it. The toe is blue." I look at the toe and gave him Arnica. I could also have given Hypericum, but because the toe was blue, I gave him Arnica.
EXTRA
It was severely swollen and it was very hard. This is typical
for Conium maculatum. Arnica doesn't have this severe swelling. In an Arnica
case the most important symptom is the sensitivity to touch. It hurts by
putting something on it, on touch and so on, which is not so strong in Conium
maculatum.
