CARCINOSIN
Mental:
Sympathetic,
compassionate, feels acutely the pain of others. Passionate and longing
patients who over-extend themselves on many levels.
Lack of self-confidence,
wants to please everybody. Craving for affection.
Fastidious.
History of
suppression and guilty feelings. Silent grief.
Sad but cannot
weep.
Desires
dancing and music.
The patient
loves the excitement of thunderstorms.
Timidity. Obstinacy.
Consolation aggravates.
Easily offended, cannot
stand any kind of reprimand.
Fears: Health and cancer. Exams. Crowds. Humiliation.
Horrible things, sad
stories affect her profoundly.
Difficult concentration.
Mental retardation.
Anxiety and anticipatory
worries.
Physical:
Warm blooded and
generally worse for heat.
Past history
of cancer or family history of cancer or diabetes.
Lack of
reaction, e.g., absence of fever.
General amelioration at
the sea, evening and from short naps.
General agg. in the afternoon
from 1-6pm or especially 5-6pm.
Periodicity.
Illness develops at the
time of puberty.
Complexion is dark,
earthy or dusky . Many times patient has dark moles.
Bluish hue to the
sclera, esp. in children.
Twiches or frequent
blinking of the eyes.
Lump in throat, worse on
empty swallowing, < at night or on waking, < heat and > cold. Clears
throat before speaking.
Craves; Salt, fat, spicy foods, chocolate, alcoholic drinks, cold
drinks.
Aversion fat.
Abdominal pains <
4-6pm. > pressure and bending forward, >hot drinks.
Burning pain in
ascending colon “like fire”.
Constipation
and inactivity of the colon.
Cough from a tickle in
the throat. Cough < talking, laughing, yawning.
Sex drive increased, too
frequent or early masturbation.
Sleeps in knee-chest
position (Med).
Insomnia. Sleepless from thoughts. Early waking at 4am.
