Mental:
Sleeplessness, wakes at 2 or
3 a.m. and remains awake. This feature very frequent.
His sleep is light and unrefreshing, thinks he has not slept at
all.
Rigid, inflexible, duty
bound.
General weakness.
Does not want to be touched –
esp. on feet
Fearful that a disease is
coming on soon
Indifferent towards sex (like all kali’s)
Physical:
Bag-like swelling between the
upper eyelids and eyebrows
Kidney problems
Worse from coition and generally worse from 2 - 4 A. M.
Asthmatic respiration, worse
between 2 - 4 A.M. and lying flat, is ameliorated by
leaning forward with elbows on knees
(med., chin.) or head
Worse cold, drafts (Hepar., Sil., Rhus-t.)
Pain in back and sciatica worse turning in bed , which is almost impossible, worse at
time of menses, during labor, sitting
erect, or walking.
Kali-c. patients
usually give few symptoms.
