TUBERCULINUM

Common Name: Nosode from Tubercular Abcess

 

Mental:

Romantic, unfulfilled “cosmopolitan” patients.

Needs change and excitement. Frequently changing jobs.

Passionate about travel.

Malicious behavior- breaks things.

Hyperactivity. Behavior disorders in children.

Obstinate, disobedient, destructive children.

Exaggerated anxiety at night in children.

Moaning, groaning, whining with loquacity in convulsions and fever.

Contradictory characteristics, mania and melancholia, insomnia and sleepiness.

Irritable especially when awakening.

Depressed and melancholic. Easily offended.

Mental dullness and difficulty with concentration.

Fear something will happen on waking.

Aversion to mental work.

Fear of CATS, dogs. Disgust with cats and furry animals.

Asthma worse from exposure to cats

Compulsive and ritualistic behaviour. Constant belief that something has been forgotten. Returns repeatedly to office door to give insignificant information.

Tormenting persistent thoughts during the night.

Shrieking in sleep , especially before menses.

 

Physical:

Emaciated despite eating heavily.

Weak, depleted constitutions.

Frequent colds and influenzas. Night sweats.

Allergy to cats (Kali-ars, Ars, Dulc, Puls, Sulph).

Grinding of teeth during sleep

Compulsive or angry head banging.

Headache or migraine may be “like an iron band”.

Headaches are periodical.

Hard glands of head and neck.

Craving smoked meats and bacon. Pork. Ham . Salami. Cold Milk.

Allergy to milk.

Repeated chest colds, bronchitis or pneumonia.

Acute respiratory infections in cases with family history of tuberculosis.

Arthritis with joint pains worse from cold.

Benign mammary tumors. Pains increase with the establishment of the flow. Good

results with chronic cystitis.

Generally worse before storms or any change in weather.

Better in mountains, esp. in pine forests.

Aggravations: cold damp weather, getting wet or from cold bathing. Evening, sea

Feels better in warm and dry weather, open air, driving with window open.

Periodicity is a strong feature and sensitive to weather changes.
