Epilepsy

diphtheria. The mucus is tough and there is persistent inclination to swallow

Oozing of blood from anus

"CHIONANTHUS" if taken for several weeks in drop doses, will

Craving for alcohol
For removing craving for alcohol in drunkards who genuinely wish to
reform and get out of that pernicious habit "china" 10 to 30 drops,
two or three times a day is the usual dose recommended.
Pains in breasts
Pain in breast occurs due to many reasons but when these pains occurs
before menses and are aggravated by every step the woman takes, it becomes a
decided pointer to "CONIUM MACULATUM" this remedy gives best results
in higher potencies but must be given infrequently.
Ulceration of mouth and throat
Chronic ulceration of mouth and throat can be cured by "CORNUS
CIRCINATA" according to Dr. HALE Tincture to 6th attenuation is generally
used for this purpose.
Dysentery
In dysentery
when "MERCURIUS COR" has come to a stand still and still there occur
three or four bloody motions daily with more or less pain, think of, this
wonderful remedy "CHAPARO AMARGOSO". It will cut short the trouble in
no time. 3rd to 6th can be tried.
Cancer
"CINNA MONUM" is to be thought of in cancer when pain and fetor
are present, but when the skin is intact only Q to 3rd potency.
Cancer of liver
In obstinate cases of cancer of liver, Dr. BURNETT opines that
"cholesterinum" has given better results than other drugs used for
the same purpose. 3rd trituration can be given in the beginning.
Obstinate hiccough
In choleraic conditions, with icy coldness of the body, when obstinate
hiccough persists, Dr. J.N. MAJUNDUR, gives preference to "CUPRUMARS"
than to "cajuputum" 3rd trituration is recommended.
Debility
Debility, short of paralysis, point to "CURARE Debility of the aged
and here this remedy follows well" BARYTA CARB".
Convergent strabismus
"CYCLAMEN" has been very often used with success for convergent
strabismus. Diplopia is also present. This remedy which resembles
"PULSATILLA" IN many respects but where as "PULSATILLA" HAS
THE STRONG modality of amelioration from open air in this remedy it has the
opposite symptom worse in open air.
Sensation of organs

Sensation as if parts of body are being separated from one another as for
example head is separated from the body or arms are separated from the trunk is
peculiar but a strong characteristic of "daphne indica" In some ways
in this instance it has resemblance to "BAPTISIA" 6th ATTENUATION.
Dancing mania
Of the different forms of mania, from which some unfortunate people
suffer, this drug, "DATURA FEROX" when anyone sing, they immediately
start dancing. 3rd, 6th and 30th potencies can be tried.
Obstinate disposition
Many think of "Ignatia" for this kind of mental condition but
according to Dr. TESTE. He prefers "DIGITALIS" low attenuation. Dr.
TESTE has cautioned against its repetitions in high attenuation.
Colds
Every time the

Phthisis

phthisis, "DROSERA" has given best results according to Dr. SERRAND.

Bronchial asthma

Nose bleeding

satisfactory result in informatory rheumatism and neuralgias, than any other

"FORMICA RUFA" is said strengthen the brain and is many times
used as a brain tonic 3rd , 6th and 30th potencies are recommended.
To increase milk in breast
To increase the quantity and quality of milk after delivery
"GALEGA" plays a prominent part, as it also improves the health of
the women removing anaemia and impaired nutrition Q to 3rd potency.
Phthisis
Dr. MURRAY is confident that "GALLI CUM ACIDUM" will be useful
even in advanced cases of phthisis. Excessive expectoration is a strong
characteristic for the use of this remedy. 1st trituration or pure acid 2 to 3
grain doses.
To improve appetite
Some persons though enjoying health. Often complaint of poor appetites.
GENTIANA LUTEA acts as a tonic 1st to 3rd attenuation.
Ulcers
Ulceration of
stomach, atonic and foul ulcers come under its purview "geranium
MACULATUM". It lessens the vomiting half dram doses Dr. RUBY.
Pernicious anaemia
Dr. WM. B. GRIGGS says "GLYCERINUM" improves the general state
of nutrition. Pure glycerine in tea spoonful doses with lemon juice is recommended.

rattle snake. As it renders the body immune to the influence of snake venom it
is used as a prophylactum also Dr. CORREA recommended tincture internally and
locally every 15 minutes.
Dysmenorrhoea
It is useful in dysmenorrhoea especially when the menses are scanty and
very painful on the first day 3rd , 6th upto 30th potency.
"GNAPHALIUL" .
Erysipelas
"GRAPHITES"
has the power to eradicate the tendency to erysipelas according to Dr. W.
BOERICKE, 6th to 30th potency can be tried.
Asiatic cholera
Dr. PHARES says that "GRATIOLA" presents a picture of a rapid
and fully developed asiatic cholera, 6th to 30th potencies are recommended.
Nymphomania
According to Dr. BURNETT, "GRATIOLA" is the nearest thing to
being specific for nymphomania. It curbs the insane desire for Tincture to 1 to
15 MASTURBATION drops, as also lower potencies.
Tonsils
"GUAIACUM"
has the bright redness of "BELLADONNA", oedema of "APIS"

will be relieved of the suffering if secretion commences "HEPAR
SULPH" 1x administrated in time, will open up the blocked nose and cause
profuse drainage according to Dr. BOERICKE.
Adhered placenta
Some women, for no known reason, develop the habit of adhered placenta at
each delivery, "HYDRASTIS" has the power to stop that habit by giving
it in 3x potency three drops daily from the fourth month on wards.
Convulsions
In convulsions when the body is stiffened, and cramp in the neck becomes
very prominent and breathing comes in paroxysms surface becomes cold and pulse
becomes feeble, almost imperceptible remember "HYDROCYANIC ACID" is
the advice of Dr. KENT 6th and higher potencies are recommended.
Aggravation on hearing
sound of water
"HYDROPHOBINUM" has the symptom of aggravation on hearing sound
of water is most remarkable. We have heard of diarrhoea caused by the smell of
cooking food which defied all standard drugs till Dr. NASH prescribed
"COLCHICUM" on this one strong symptom. A doctor whose name i could
not see clearly in the magazine due to being torn at that end has given this
case, where, when everything failed, he came to know of the symptom of
dysentery with pain and tenesmus, on hearing the sound from a running tap and
cured it with "HYDROPHOBINUM" 30th and 200th potencies, and even
higher can be tried.
Cough
When cough is
aggravated by lying down but is entirely relieved by sitting up
"HYOSCYAMUS" has to be given first consideration, unless some other
remedy is suggested strongly. Dr. YINGLING 6th to 30th potencies are
recommended.
Pains following laparotomy
"HYPERICUM" 3x given at intervals of twenty minutes for twelve
hours or longer seems to control the pain following laparotomy.
Heart troubles
Heart affection are always attended with fear. But in "IBERIS"
it has to a very excessive condition and the patient become very conscious of
the heart's action and on this characteristic symptom, becomes a reliable
remedy in hypertrophy. Tincture acts well.
Spasms
When spasms and convulsions end in long drawn out signs, IGNATIAS as
specific 6th , both, 20th potencies.
Loss of appetite
Some people maintain good health and are normal in all ways but complain
that they suffer from loss of appetite. Give "IODIUM" 3x in a wine
glass of water half an hour before meals time, and observe how fast they change
into voracious eaters in a short time. (Dr. CLAKE'S DICTIONARY)
Epilepsy
Dr. KIM has said from his experience, he found "INDIGO" more
suited to epilepsy caused by worm trouble. Before fits, there is dizziness,
3rd, 6th and 30th potencies can be tried.
Malignant pustule
Dr. HERBERT has found excellent results with "IPECAC" and even
considers it almost a specific for malignant pustule and anthrax. 3rd, 6th,
30th upto 200th potency. Can be used. Externally also.
Headache
"INDIUM" has this peculiar headache in the sense that violent
pain in the head accompanies every time the patient strains at evacuation time.
6th, 30th and 200th potencies are recommended.
Opium habit
five drops of "IPECAC" Q will act as an antidote to opium as
well as morphia habit. Most be continued for some time.
Anaemia
Dr. LAUBROCHER considers "IRIDIUM" admirable in all cases of
anemia and says emphatically that it works better than "CHINA" for
the aged and persons exhausted by disease and also for puny. Weak - limbed
children and those who grow too fast 6th and 30th potencies.
Vomiting
In cases of vomiting of all kinds Dr. Kitchler recommends "IRIS
VERSICOLOR", tincture to 30th potency acts well.
Meningitis
Dr. W. BOERICKE warms that "IODOFORUM" should not be forgotten in
the treatment of tubercular meningitis. He advises it both as a local
application to the head and internally also. 2nd trituration.

especially when they are of syphilitic origin, point to "JACARANDA".
There will be pain in the eyes, become inflamed and watery. 3rd and 6th

Diarrhoea (frequent and watery bowel movement )
Cutting colic before and during stools and aggravation at night are
characteristic symptoms of "JALAPA" in diarrhoea 3rd, 6th and 30th
potencies will suffice.
Erysipelas
I have had the greatest success in erysipelas with "JABORANDI"
being able to discharge them from two to four days; says Dr. ANSTRUZ "
3rd, 6th and 30th potencies can be tried.
Cough

Urinary trouble
Even after evacuating the bladder, when the patient feels a sensation
that a drop has remained inside and says he is incapable to expel it,
"KALI BICHROMICUM" must be given a thought as this symptom is
strongly brought out in the proving 30th and higher attenuations are preferred.
Flooding
In haemorrhages, flooding especially in young women is a strong
indication according to Dr. HERING. "KALI BROMATUM" 3rd trituration.
When using this medicine it is advised that elimination of salt from patient's
diet, will assist it in acting quickly.
Sweat backache weakness
Sweat, back ache, weakness constitute the grand characteristics of
"KALI CARB" according to Dr. Kent. In gout, this should be used
cautiously.
Diffused sensitiveness
In all neuralgic or inflammatory conditions, where there is heightened
and diffused sensitiveness of the affected part, utmost consideration must be
given to "KALI IODATUM" before thinking of other drugs, enlarged
lymphatic glands, syphilitic nodes, condylomata and tumors of the breast and
uterus, all can be removed by using this drug according to Dr. TESTE.
Tinnitus aurium
A single dose of "KALI IODATUM" will do wonders in this
annoying trouble of tinnitus aurium, says Dr. MOORE. 30th potency is
recommended.
Toxemic conditions
During pregnancy, when toxemic conditions arise due to urinary troubles,
it pays to remember "KALI CHLORICUM" 6th to 30th potencies can be
tried, when the necessity arises to use this locally, great caution should be
exercised as it is poisonous.
Diphtheria
The leading indications for diphtheria in "KALI PERMANGANICUM"
are according to Dr. DUDGEON, extreme fetor of breath, sanious discharges from
the nose, and intense prostration, 2x dilution in water is recommended.
Neurasthania (medical
condition characterized by lassitude, fatigue, headache, and irritability )
Conditions arising from want of nerve-power, neurasthania, mental and
physical depression are wonderfully improved by "KALI PHOS" and don't
forget to bring to your mind, this great remedy when you are called upon to
treat suspected malignant tumors is the opinion of many eminent doctors.
Nervousness arising out of excessive sexual excitement, whether indulged or
suppressed need, "KALI PHOS" 3rd to 12th trituration is the standard
prescription but in certain cases, the highest seem to be indicated.
Intercostal neuralgia
With intercostal neuralgia, when patient is unable to lie down or sleep
at night, the chief indication being numb sensation of left arm try
"KALMIA LATIFOLIA". A dose or two of the 200th potency will give untold
relief.
Croup (inflamation of the larynx and trachea in
children, associated with infection and causing breathing difficulties )
Many times when all the standard remedies failed to give relief to the
patient in croup, i have relied on "KAOLIN" and it has never betrayed
my trust in it says Dr. GUNTHER. "KAOLIN" 6, four or five globules
every half hour rapidly removes the labouring, sawing respiration and gives
immense relief to the suffering patient. Lower triturations are recommended.
Oozing of blood after coitus
Coitus followed by flow of blood next day is a keynote symptom of
"KRESOTE" according to Dr. KENT, 3rd to 30th potency is recommended
but in sensitive patients 200th potency is advisable.
Tooth ache and caries
The nearest rivals for "KREOSOTE" in toothache and caries are
"STAPHISAGRIA" with blackened teeth and "MERCURIUS" with
gum boil. Very rapid decay of teeth, with spongy bleeding gums, is
characteristic for "KREOSOTE" 6th and 30th are the usual potencies.
Diphtheria
It is diphtheria both as curative and prophylactic that "LAC
CANINUM" has won its great name, the characteris symptoms being
alternation of sides often very rapid. Shining glazed appearance of deposit
marked indication. A sensation of lump on one side causes constant deglutition
and in no time changes to the other side. 30th and higher potencies are
preferred.
Headache
Unbearable excruciating headache, the pain penetrating into the left
eyeball and from there to the centre of the brain, making the patient shrick
and run up and down, unable to bear the pain is the most prominent symptoms for
"lac felinum" 30th and 200th potency is commonly used.
Nausea of pregnancy
Generally in nausea of pregnancy women cannot bear even the smell of any
kind of food or beverages let alone partaking of it but in "LAC VAC
COAGULATUM" with this nausea, the patient desires food; and the complaint
is much relieved by drinking milk. 6th and 30th potency.
Pain in shin bones
A minor characteristic of "LACHESIS" is pain in shin bones of
an aching kind only but when such pains occur in connection with throat
affections it becomes a specific according to Dr. GURENSEY 30th and higher
potencies.
Plague
"LACHESIS" like "NAJA" has had great success in
epidemics of plague. 200th and higher potencies advocated.
Shocks
When after shock, the the whole body becomes icy- cold with goose -flesh
and the patient cannot get warm even under a feather bed and only a hot flat
iron ameliorates icy coldness of body, "lachnanthes" takes hold of the
situation and helps to control the distressing symptom. 3rd to 6th potency.
Phthisis (Pulmonary tuberculosis or a similar progressive systemic
disease )
"lachnanthes" is used in phthisis emperically but sometimes on
its indications also, says Dr. DEWEY. Here tincture is advocated, unit doses
once or twice a week or three drops every four hours depending on the the
severity of the case.
Scrofulous enlargement of
cervical glands
I have used this remedy in many cases of scrofulous enlargement of the the
cervical glands and find that it is almost a specific where the glands have a
certain amount of elasticity and pliability about them, rather than stony
hardness. "LAPIS ALBA" Dr. DEWEY. 1st to 6th potency.
Paraplegia (Paralysis of the legs and lower body )
The clinical
records of this drug "LATHYRUS SATIVUS" though very meagre, gives
great hope that it may prove useful in numerous cases of bed ridden
paraplegiacs, as also in infantile paralysis and also in certain forms of
myelitis Dr. DUDGEON 3rd , 6th and 12th potencies can be tried.
Jaundice
In jaundice, for which it is useful, the point to note is jet black
stools like tar where as in "DIGITALIS". The stools are white like
chalk. Tincture to 3rd potency, "LEPTANDRA".
Trembling
For trembling of
hand, and feet (seperately "KALI
BROMATUM" for hands and "ZINCUM MET" for feet) when first
"MERCURIUS VIV" was given and afterward, "AGARICUS" which
gave only partial and temporary relief, I prescribed "LOLIUM
TREMULATUM" which within a short time affected a cure Dr. BOMINO 6th and
30th potencies.
Spasms
In spasms of the new born infant, as well as of heart diseases the
important indication for "LAUROCERASUS" is just gasping without real
breathing, Blue skin and elubbing of finger, are additional symptoms.
Toxic goitre
Dr. "BEEB" considers "LYCOPUS VIRGINICUS" beneficial
in toxic goitre, if used in the preoperative stage. Dose 5drops of tincture.
Sensitive liver region
Sensitiveness of liver region is a great characteristic of
"LYCOPODIUM". The patient cannot bear lying on the painful side and
absolutely intolerant of tight clothing round the waist.
Constipation
This is given as a very important medicine for constipation especially
where purgatives have been largely abused. 200th to higher potencies are
recommended. "LYCOPODIUM" High potencies.
For increasing milk in
breasts
"LACTUCA VIROSA" tincture has the power to increase milk in
breast according to Dr. INGLING.
Morning sickness
This medicine "LACTIC ACID" is said to be very useful for
nausea, morning sickness especially to pale anaemic women, 3rd to 30th potency
can be tried.
For calming nervous system
For nervous system which demands permanently soothing and sustaining
influence "MAGNESIA CARB" is the remedy, worm-out women, in a state
of nervousness induced by the excess of cares and worries of life, and nearing
round about forty years of age, if given "MAG. CARB" 200, three or
four times a day will get immense relief from their suffering, according to Dr.
J.T. KENT.
Toothache
For affections of teeth, when no other remedies are indicated due to
paucity of chear-cut symptoms, in pregnancy, "MAGNESIA CARB" takes
its place along with "CHINA" and almost always does its duty in
giving relief. 6th and 30th potencies can be tried.
Constipation
"MAGNESIA MURIATICA" will be very useful for constipation in
infants during dentition period. Only a small quantity is passed. The matter
expelled is knotty, resembling sheeps dungs and Crumbles at the edge of the
anus. 3rd, 6th and 30th potencies are recommended.
Skin affection
Unhealthy, rough, dry skin remaining for years after vaccination can be
cured with "MALANDRINUM" according to Dr. BURNETT. 30th and higher
potencies act well should not be repeated often.
Fear of becoming crazy
Some insane people develop various types of fears. In this remedy
"MANCINELLA". The patient has this extreme fear of getting crazy. 6th
to 30th potency.
Peculiar walk
"MANGANUM" patients have this symptoms of inability to walk
backward without falling. They walk stooping forward. 3rd, 6th and 30th
potencies can be tried.
Constipation
When patients suffer from severe constipation. They try various methods
to expel the stools. In "ALUMINA" they hang on the nearest thing in
the closet but in "MEDORRHINUM" they can get rid of it only by
learning far backward says Dr. KENT. High potencies are advised.
Dry cough
"MENTHA PIPERITA" is praised by many doctors as useful in dry
cough and it is credited even with curing cough of consumptives according to
Dr. CLARKE 30th and 200th potencies are recommended.
Pus flow
Flow of pus from any part of the body, especially bloody pus calls for
"MERCURIUS SOL". It is called by Dr. KENT as mother of pus.
Dirty noses
Dirty nosed children are synonymous with "MERCURIUS SOL" says
Dr. GURENSEY.
Colds
When a patient says that whenever he cutches cold it settles in the eye.
Remeber "MERC. SOL" says Dr. J. T. KENT.
Asthma
Innumerable cases have been cited where small doses of
"MERCURIUS BINIOD" 3x or 2x have cut short an attack of on coming
asthma or if taken at bed time have prevented an expected attack from
developing into a severe one during right.
Dysentery
In dysentery, with intense tenesmus after stool, there appear there two
additional symptoms of (1) Perspiration before and after stool; most pronounced
on the lower part of the body and thighs and (2) Cutting colic below umbilicus
(not found in merc. Sol.) be sure to give "MERCURIUS COR" and it will
clear the case lock, stock and barrel says" Dr. IRWING".
Diphtheria
Generally "DIPHTHERICUM" is used as a prophylactic in epidemics
of diphtheria but it pays to remember that "MERCURIUS CYANATUS" is
equally efficient to control the spread of this dreadful disease.
Dropsy of chest (swelling from excessive accumulation of
watery fluid in cells )
In dropsies of the chest, "MERCURIUS SULPH" is as important as
"ARS" according to Dr. LIPPE. He says that when it begins to act it
produces a profuse watery diarrhoea with great relief to the patient-6th , 30th
and 200th potencies.
Gonorrhoea and cystitis
Dr. FOSTER says, whenever there is pus infection "METHYLENE
BLUE" is indicated and it has made a record with him in gonorrhoea and
cyotitis 3x attenuation can be tried.
Neuralgias
I have cured very severe case of all kinds of neuralgias, mostly about
teeth or face, aggravated during winter says Dr. HERBERT 6th and 30th potency
can be tried "MEIEREUM".
Vertigo
Very severe
cases of vertigo, aggravated even by the least motion of the head yield to
"MORPHINUM" according to Dr. C. M. BOGER. 3rd and 6th trituration.
Easy fainting
When easy fainting is a leading accompaniment of any complaint, trivial
to serious, the first thought should be given to "MOSCHUS" says Dr.
DUNHAM. Try 3rd and 6th potencies.
Panaritium
"MYRISTICA SEBIFERA" is considered to be almost a specific for

"NAJA", it must be noted is non haemorrhagic and non septic
unlike, "LACHESIS " and "CROTALUS". The almost constant
heat of head and face is a pointer to "NAJA" according to Dr.
J.T. KENT.
Bronchitis
According to Dr. CARTIER, in bronchitis, when the spasmodic element is
associated with tenacious expectoration and oppression "NAPHTHALINUM"
is worth trying for speedy relief. 3rd trituration ( 3x ).
Asthma and whooping cough
I have found "NAPHTHALINUM" more useful in asthma and whooping
cough than any other remedy. The spasmodic action and cyanosis of this drug are
great indication here, though it is not necessary to wait till the child turns
blue before prescribing it Dr. J. MEREDITH. 1st to 3rd trituration.
Sterility
When sterility takes place not due to any physical defect but to the
inability of the semen remaining inside and flowing out after coitus
"NATRUM CARB" will alter the situation and enable the women to
conceive as it is her birth-right. Dr. KENT 30th and 200th potencies are
recommended.
Ulceration
When there is ulceration, where the throat has been cauterised, or the
cervic uteri or eye-lids have been cauterised by nitrate of silver, you must
give a deep thought to "NATRUMMUR" says Dr. KENT. One must closely
observe whether the symptoms of the case on hand would not justify
administration of "NATRUM MUR." It is the most natural antidote for
that viscious practice.
Coryza
Violent sneezing coryza. Infaliable for stopping a cold
commencing with sneezing use 30th potency says. Dr. BOERICKE "NATRU MUR".
Influenza (A contagious viral
infection of the respiratory passages causing fever, severe aching, and catarrh.)
SCHUSSLER Considers "NATRUM SULPH." To be specific remedy for
influenza and Dr. BOERICKE says this remedy is one of the best for the
prostrating after effects of influenza 3rd, 6th and 12x can be tried.
Salivation with
headache
During headache the mouth always gets filled with water causing spitting
constantly is a well verified symptom of "NATRUM SULPH" Dr. LEONARD.
3x, 6x and 12x can be tried.
Headache
With the violent
headache, the patient has to hold the head with both hands, lest it will end in
ccontvblsions is a good pointer for "NICCOLUM " Dr. GIBSON. 3rd
trituration.
Pain after stools
A keynote of "NITRIC ACID" stools, whether loose or constipated
is pain after stools lasting for hours. Pain is of a sticking nature, 30th and
200th potencies can be tried.
Typhus
In typhus when pneumonia supervenes and when haemorrhage occurs from
bowels, stools being green, slimy. Offensive , may be purulent, flow of blood
profuse, and bright red and urine smells fowl like horse urine, a dose or two
of "NITRIC ACID", 200 will change the whole colour of the disease and
helps to the quick recovery of the patient. Dr. DUDGEON. 30th and 200th
potencies are recommended.
Drowsiness
"NUX MOSCHATA" is needed for drowsiness more frequently than
"OPIUM" and in addition to drowness, if there is chilliness, the use
of this remedy becomes certain in combination with thirst lessness. Dr. GRAHAM,
30th and 200th potencies can be tried.
Faintness after stools
Like in "ALUMINA" the stools is soft and there is great
straining to expelit, but in "NUX MOSCHATA", there is the additional
symptom of faintness. During or after stool which can be considered as a
pointer . Dr. BOERICKE, 6th and 30th potency can be tried.
Impotency
Excessive depression of the male generation system points to "NUPHAR
LUTEUM. There is complete absence of sexual desire, parts relaxed and
penis retracted. Tincture to 6th potency is recommended.
Indigestion
"NUX
MOSCHATA" is very often indicated in cases of excessive flatulence and
when even a little excess in eating habit or drinking leads to indigestion. 6th
and 30th potency.
Dysentery
Where as in "MERCURIUS SOL" straining continues for sometime
after stools in "NUX VOMICA" The straining cases immediately after
stools 6th, 30th and 200th can be tried.
Diarrhoea
Leaving off beer causes in "ALOES". Where as in "NUX
VOMICA" diarrhoea starts from leaving off alcoholic drink, Dr. J. T. KENT.
6th and 30th potencies are recommended.
Renal colic
In renal colic,
when it is accompanied by violent vomiting and the patient wrings his hands and
moans and cries all the time, it certainly pays to remember "OCCIMUM
CANUM" as it happen it be one of the prominent remedies for disease of
kidneys bladder and urethra says, Dr. DUNCAN this medicine is more right sided.
6th to 30th potency can be tried.
Diarrhoea
Exhausting watery diarrhoea, without any effort, with nervous exhaustion,
is the keynote for "OENOTHERA" says Dr. FARRINATON lower potencies
can be tried.
Severe pains in stomach
Patient suffering from severe pains in stomach after meals, can be
benefited with large drop doses, nearly twenty to twenty five drops" of
"OENOTHERA" Q. according to Dr. HUND.
Affection of scalp
"OLEANDER" is one of the front rank remedies for affections of
scalp, says Dr. HUGES. desquamation of the epidermis of scalp. Gnawing itching
of the scalp as from lice. After scratching smarting as if scratched raw.
According to the doctor, a single dosed of Q may give the best results.
Atrophy (degeneration
of cells )
"OLEUM JECORIS ASELLI" is very useful for atrophy of infants,
says Dr. BURNETT. It acts as a nutrient. The children who need this remedy
cannot take milk. One characteristic feature is fever is aggravated in the
evening with burning in palms. 1st to 3rd trituration. Locally nightly rubbing
for dwarfish emaciated children advocated.
Headache
Formerly for
head-ache, due to eye strain, "RUTA" was the standard remedy but
since "ONOSMODIUM" is proved. I can confidently say that this drug
has cured probably more cases of head ache associated with eyestrain. Than any
other remedy. Dr. HARTMANN. 6th and 30th potencies can be tried.
Dryness
There is extreme
dryness of mouth in "nux moschata" so dry that the tongue gets
adhered to the top of the mouth but there is no thirst in it. But in
"ONOSMODIUM" there is severe dryness of nose, and throat but with
thirst potencies failed to give satisfactory result. The higher potencies gave
astonishing results. {in this connection, he cites a case, where, the medicine
cured not only the dryness trouble but in the process restored the breast of
the women. Which were diminutive to the extent of almost absent to their
natural size.}
Effects of excission of
ovaries
Some women suffer much after excission of ovaries such as nervousness and
skin troubles, like acne etc, "OOPHORINUM" will cure those troubles
according to Dr. CLARKE. Low triturations are recommended.
Painlessness
Whenever patients say even in serious illness, that there is nothing the
matter with them and want nothing. You give a serious thought to
"OPIUM" if it is the remedy for this, and if great sopor is present

"OPIUM" is useful and becomes one of the chief remedies when
fœtal movement become alarmingly excessive, Threatening even abortion Dr.
HAYNES. 30th and 200th potencies can be useful.
asphyxia (body is deprived of oxygen )
In asphyxia of new born and in puerperal convulsions "OPIUM"
follows "ACONITE" well Dr. KENT.
Spinal affections
In spinal affections, weak loins, hip, legs, numb back, numb limbs, blue
and cold weak and, numb, aggravated going up, point to "OXALIC ACID"
Dr. FARRINGTON 6th and 30th .
Glaucoma (A condition of increased pressure within the eyeball,
causing gradual loss of sight.)

Debility

Biting of tongue
A peculiar note worthy symptoms of "PHOSPHORIC ACID" is the
biting of tongue involuntarily at night. 30th and 200th can be tried.
Nervousness
"PHOSPHORUS" patients are of a nervous type and a
characteristic symptom in this connection is fibrillary twitching of individual
bundles of fibres in muscles says Dr. Lwitching 30th to 200th potency.
Hunger
These patients have to eat often or they will faint. Hungry soon after
taking meals. They feel hungry in the night and unless they get up and eat
something they cannot sleep "PHOPHORUS" 6th and 30th potency.
Ulcers
Ulcers of this remedy "PHOSPHORUS" have the tendency to bleed
easily at the slightest touch and with this characteristic of large ulcers
surrounded by smaller ones. 6th and 30th potencies are recommended.
Inflammation of
mammary glands
When mammary glands inflame, without any general symptoms, but merely as
an inflammation of glands, "PHYTOLACCA" can be prescribed and get

Headache

The excessive emaciation of "PLUMBUM", and its action on spine
make it a remedy of first importance in progressive muscular atrophy. 6th ,

Diarrhoea
When a child has copious gushing foetid stool and gets amelioration only
by lying on the abdomen and diarrhoea startsif it lies in any other position
except by lying on the abdomen. "PODOPHYLLUM" will certainly be the

Aphonia

symptoms will be constantly changing. Think of "PULSATILLA" and it

Fevers
In all cases of fevers commencing with abnormal pains in the limbs, pulse
alarmingly rapid, out of preportion to temperature. Think of

Prostatic troubles
"SABAL SERRULATA" is almost a specific ureter, when the
prostate gland is involved says Dr. E. S. EVANS of colombus ohio. Q 10 to 20
drops.
To increase size of
breast
"SABAL SERRULATA" Q thrice daily, will help to increase the
size of the under developed breast of women says Dr. Price.
Inflamation of heels
"SABINA" is suited to plethoric women who suffer from what they
call rheumatic inflammation of the heels according to Dr. FARRINGTON 3rd 6th

Cold pains
While "ARS" pains are of a burning nature, in "SACCHRUM
LACTIS" there are cold pains which becomes a key-note according to Dr.
SWAN HIGHER potency.
Rheumatic pains
Rheumatic pains in joints, with soreness and stiffness more marked
especially pain and soreness in the buttocks, knees and wrists yield to
"SALOL" according to DR. CBEGG. The joints feel stiff as if they
needed oiling.

The tickling cough especially of consumptives will be entirely relieved

Nervous blindness
Cases of nervous blindness are said to have yielded to
"SANTONINUM" according to Dr. HALE 30th and higher potencies can be
tried. It is cautioned that lower potencies are often toxic. Do not give it to
a child with fever or constipation.
Retraction of nipples
The nipples are soft; unexcitable. They are retarded and cannot be coaxed
to come out. Retraction of nipples is a suspicious sign, even though there is
no tumor and "SARSAPARILLA" should be helpful in patients of
cancerous history, where this condition is present, Dr. HAMILTON 1st to 6th
potency.
Delirium tremens
"SCUTELLARIA" has the remarkable effects of calming the
nervousness in delirium tremens. Dr. SCOTT tincture and low potencies.
Weak heart
"SCUTELLARIA" is found useful in weak hearts, the result of
too, much smoking, says Dr. SHERBINO.
Obstinate hiccough
In cases of severe and rapid hiccough massive dose of "SCUTELLARIA,
about sixty drops of Q every two hours, has been found to end the annoying
trouble, says Dr. CHURTON
Nervous drain
"SELENIUM" patients, cannot bear nervous drain. Hence, there is
aggravation after coitus or seminal emissions. Debility after fever and when
the patient begins to walk after typhoid and says he is feeling great weakness
in the spine and fears paralysis, it pays to study this medicine says Dr. KIM

Hoarseness of singers
In hoarseness of singers, which appear as soon as they begin to sing or
after long use of the voice, with frequent necessity to clear the throat, from

Ulcers of mouth warts
Whole mouth, is covered with malignant ulcers. They bleed easily,

Nails affections
"SILICEA" affects the nails, crpples them and produces
inflammation around and under them. A sensation as if the fingertips have been

operation
After a surgicaloperation where there has ben much cutting, and a state
of great prostration, coldness oozing of blood, almost cold breath and other
dangerous symptoms crop up, naturally the doctor who is a great student of
materia medica will without hesitation suggest "CARBO VEG" and all

disappoint you. But if you are a surgeon, and one in the know of surgical therapeuties,
better than a materia medica man, you will say with confidence. The situation

For inebriates, who are on their last legs, long after "NUX

three parts of alcohol 10 to 15 drops three times a day for several weeks. But
its Homoeopathic use is 30th potency.
Pain in back
For pain in the back, after westling or sexual indulgence excessively,
"SYMPHYTUM" has given me more favourable results, then other remedies
according to Dr. HENRY FORD 3rd to 6th potencies.
Injuries to eyes

Haematuria is particularly characteristic of "TEREBINTHINA".
Smoky turbid urine depositing a sediment like coffea grounds. Dull pain on
burning pain in region of kidneys. Burning pain in region of kidneys. Burning
during micturition is to be noted. Tincture to 3rd potency, pain in the bowels
which causes frequent micturition is another strong symptoms for this medicine
according to DR BURNETT.

No remedy meets cases of thread, worms than "TEUCRIUM" says Dr.

Scrofulosis
In scrofulosis when the best remedies fail to act, think of

Psoriasis
In obstinate cases of psoriasis, i have tried "THYROIDINUM"
first 3x and then 30th potency and cured says Dr. CLARKE.
Cough
Cough followed
by hiccough is a peculiar symptoms of "TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE" Dr. FELTER
tincture is recommended.
Dysuria
The most painful micturiation, the burning and straining drives the
patient to the point of madness is the characterotic symptoms for
"TRITICUM REPENS" says DR. BURNETT Q 10 drops in a little water,
gives relief.
Seminal emissions
"THUJA" Q in 5 to 7 drops at bed-time controls nocturnal
seminal emissions better than any other remedy says Dr. C. W. ROBERTS.
Cicatric tissues
For dissolving cicatric tissue, I have full faith in this remedy
"THIOSINAMINUM" says Dr. DUDGEON. A resolvent , internally and
externally for dissolving scar tissue, says Dr. W. BOERICKE 2x attenuation.
Headache
In severe migraine, one or two doses, given with in an hour, causes the
headache to cease and induces good sleep from which the patient wakes up free
from headache and with good spirits. This is perhaps analogous to the power of
this drug "TURNEREA APHRODISIACA" to dispel fatigue says Dr.
YINGLING.
Dribbling of urine
Some unfortunate people suffer from this most annoying and trouble some
symptoms of dribbling urine night and day. In a number of such cases, I have
given "turnereaaphrodisiaca" fluid, extract, in water four times a
day and gave much relief; DR. -------{Due to the inkspot on the name, I am not
able to decipher it}.
Chronic diarrhoea
I have used "THALSPI BURSA PESTORIS" repeatedly in chronic
diarrhoea, when this is purely a primary affection of the bowels, with surprising
benefit, but it is useless in consensual diarrhoea. DR. B.R. DUDGEON.

uncontrollable desire to masturbate in people of all ages. Emissions with

Alopecia
"USTILAGO MAYDIS" has earned a reputation as a cure for
alopecia. Tincture to 3rd potency is recommended.

Dr. CLARK has
said that he has cured many inveterate skin eruptions with
"VACCININUM" eruptions resembling variola 6th and 30th potencies are
recommended.
Wasting diseases
"VANADIUM" has the power to combine its oxygen with toxins and
as such destroys their virulence. Hence its extreme utility in wasting
diseases. It will prove a grand remedy in degenerative conditions of the liver.
Dr. W. BOERICKE 6th to 12th potency can be used.
Shingles
Numerous cases have been recorded where "VARIOLINUM" has cured
shingles, lock, stock and barrel Dr. SHELDON 6th to 30th potencies are
recommended.
Heart stimulant
In DR. MITCHELL'S opinion, "VERATRUMALB" will prove to be the
best heart stimulant, 30th to 200th potency can be tried.
Enuresis (Involuntary urination , esp. by children at night )
Five drop doses
of "VERABASCUM" night and day is recommended in enuresis.
Urinary peculiarity
A peculiarity about urination in "ZINCUM MET" is the patient's
inability to expel urine unless one sits and spreads his legs and leans
backwards. 30th 200th potency can be tried.
Suppressed urine
Cases of complete suppression of urine especially after serious diseases
like typhoid can be much benefited by zinzinber. 1st to 6th potency.
